This week’s question was about How To Choose a SEO company that won’t rip you off. That’s a great question, however I had to turn it on its head a little bit.

‘Cos here’s the thing: EVERYBODY wants traffic. That’s why EVERYBODY sells traffic – it’s an easy thing to sell.

But before you invest money and/or time in getting traffic,
you must watch this video and be amazed at the numbers.

Before you invest time or money into getting traffic to your website, you must find out what your Conversion Rate is. Why? Well, knowing this number will tell you exactly what you have to spend to make a profit.

Example:

Say you have a $200 Product or Service that you are trying to sell off your website or off a landing page. And say that you spend $100 on getting 100 visitors to your website.

If you know that your conversion rate is 1%, then you know that if you spend $100, you will make $100 profit. Every time.

You also know that if you can increase your conversion rate by just 1%, you will make $300 dollars every time you spend $100. So you know that by increasing your conversion rate by just 1%, you will TREBLE your profit.
