Hitting Obstacles

Ok, so as soon as I had made my decision to begin the 192 Challenge and published the first blog (which was read by over 100 people in the first two days!), I started to feel a little off, you know a little ache creeping up behind the frontal lobes, some tickling in the sinus area and a scratchy throat…

I tried to ignore it and listened to my friend Mishfits Affirmations (‘every cell in my body breathes health’)…all to no avail. If I was feeling sickly on Friday, by Sunday night I was out of it.

Hitting Obstacles

So my Hour of Power consisted of some audios on the sofa (one with 21st Century Education founder Jamie McIntyre, highly recommend it)…and some 15 meditative minutes outside in the fresh air…

I don’t know how you would tackle making the utmost out of the next 6 months of your life, but my idea was this:

Week 1: Clear out the clutter (actual clutter as well as mind-clutter)
Week 2: Create some clarity around the Goals
Week 3: Making a detailed plan

And this was as far as I had gotten…before I was stopped (I nearly said ‘dead…’) in my tracks.

Well, maybe I had to get that out of my system as part of clearing out the clutter. Maybe my body is demanding a proper rest before it revs up for the most significant 6 months ever. That’s ok. I didn’t resist it.

Today, I had my hubby and friends ferry round the kids and look after me. (If you’re a woman you know that doesn’t happen often. lol) And whilst my head still feels like cotton wool, I did want to keep you up to date.

What do you do when you hit an obstacle? Leave a comment and tell us about it!
